Summer Acting Camp

Bottle Tree Productions offers young people, from 6- 9 and 9-14 years old, a robust summer camp experience. REGISTER HERE

The day starts at 8:30 when campers begin to arrive, meet and chat with camp leaders and each other. At 9:00 we move to nearby parks to work our morning activities which can include improv games, devised scenework, and individual guidance to help hone a solo piece for our coffeehouse. Lunch and breaks are free time where the campers are able to gather and get to know each other, take advantage of water features and equipment in the park, and generally chill for a bit.

After lunch, we work on the play that will be presented in the last Friday of class, in an outdoor venue close to The Bottle Tree Studio. The campers head back to the church for 4:00pm, and pick up is between 4:00 and 4:30.

All camps are outdoors unless the weather turns bad, in which case, we head into the Studio and work. Our “Han Soloist” talent show has been a huge hit since its inception in 2021, and it is also hosted in the studio, under lights.

There are 2 one-week camps for 6-9 year olds, and 3 two-week camps for 9-14 year olds. We have an excellent camper-to-leader ratio.
