I would like to say how much <my daughter> enjoy[ed] the camp.  She has been smiling all week.  She can not wait to participate again!

Highly recommend!

Not-hypothetically speaking….I put her in drama where she reads and practices a script over and over again, building reading fluency, prosody and expression! And she LOVES it!!! Thanks to @Bottletreeinc

Bottle Tree has been a very positive experience for both of my children. My kids have taken classes during the year and also done camps in the summer. Even with Pandemic Restrictions, Bottle Tree was able to keep modified programs in place ensuring a positive safe fun environment. I would highly recommend.

Our daughter has had nothing but positive experiences through various summer camps and musical theatre classes. New friendships and skills have been formed through this is a highly inclusive atmosphere. The professionalism of the productions are impressive and Ann Marie is a patient and intuitive guide for all aspects of the theatre.

My daughter had her first introduction to Bottletree last year and was involved in their Musical Theatre class this year. She had an amazing time and met a lot of nice kids. The mixture of older and younger kids was great as there was a lot of junior leadership happening. Yes, there are a lot of practices and time requirements, but if your child is truly into it, they are energized by it. I was completely impressed with the quality of the production, watching as the actors backstage managed themselves with no director and knew what prop to have, and when to come on, and when to sing along. The communication from Anne Marie is fantastic and on-time and thorough. She is a wonderfully kind person who is patient with the kids and works with them to get them into their character. There are a lot of supporting people to help kids with choreography, singing, props, etc, all of whom are excellent and kind.

Great people who make a safe and inclusive environment for all who are looking to have fun and learn to do theater. Both my children have done many camps with Bottle Tree. They have loved every one they have attended.

So thankful for Bottle Tree Productions! Extraordinarily fun, engaging, and inclusive learning environments – camps and classes! Builds confidence and gives kids from a young age into teenage years a great place to express themselves creatively.

My daughter loves this group and had a fantastic time being in productions like Mary Poppins Jr. and Frozen Jr.! Anne Marie is a fabulous director and acting coach! Highly recommend!

Over my years of teaching, I have had scores of students who have honed their acting and technical theatre skills by enrolling in Bottle Tree drama camps and classes. Two of those KCVI students on separate occasions advanced to the Sears Drama Festival Provincial Showcase and both won awards for Acting Excellence! Countless others won Awards of Excellence at the District and Regional Festivals! Over the years, KCVI also co-produced three shows with Bottle Tree Productions: The Pirates of Penzance, Office Hours, and Grease. Charles Robertson has also written plays that have advanced to the Regional Festivals as well as the Provincial Showcase!

My two girls have taken classes for several years and love it here. They have grown so much from the quiet kids they were. Anne Marie, you have been hard at work. The space looks great and it is buzzing with activity!

(My child) is loving classes…said her face hurt from smiling and laughing so much after last class. It’s so great to experience such a fun group where she can share her sense of humour and creativity.

Our daughter has had amazing experiences with this group -most recently the Lion King JR show at the Baby Grand! Great group to work with and hope to do more in the future with them!

I want to take a second to talk about my second home, Bottle Tree Productions.

Bottle Tree Productions is an inclusive, interactive, welcoming theatre space to make memories, meaningful connections within the community, and learn the art of theatre. I joined Bottle Tree was I was 7 years old and I have seen Bottle Tree at every age they offer classes, camps, and supports to. I am making this post because I believe I am the BEST person to describe what Bottle Tree offers because I have done it all! In 2007, I joined the Junior Bottle Tree acting class because there was no Little Stars class. Since then, I have been able to support, advocate, and teach Little Stars (6-8). I was part of Classes and musical Productions as an Intermediate and Teen. I pushed through exams, sports, band practice, and school musicals, all while attending and fully committing to Bottle Tree Productions. Throughout highschool, I earned more than my allotted volunteer hours and began to feel like a pivitol part of the planning process and decision making for Bottle Tree Productions and being apart of an advisory team for Bottle Tree with other youth. Now, as I am in young adulthood, I have had a plethora of job opportunities surrounding Child & Youth Work and theatre both apart of and outside of Bottle Tree Productions.

In my almost 16 years with Bottle Tree Productions, I have made countless friendships and learned skills that I can take with me in many aspects of my life! If you know someone aged 6-18 who is interested in theatre, but also the skills and friendships they will gain while a part of a theatre space, I urge you to sign them up for Bottle Tree classes and Camps! I promise you they will keep talking about it when they go home, and won’t be able to wait to go back 🙂

Thanks Anne for offering a space in the Kingston Community for children and youth to grow and be welcomed!
