We Are Hiring Artist-Educators!
Bottle Tree Productions has been at the forefront of theatre training for children and youth since 2005. Our Stage Right and Little Stars programs have a proven track record of supporting a creative, confident, kind community of young actors.
The biggest part of our success is in providing the right coaches. We are looking for artist-educators with a body of work in theatre. The perfect candidate loves children and wants to share a passion for theatre with these up-and-coming young performers.
About the Position
We are hiring Artist-Educators (Stage Coaches) to support our Stage Right and Little Stars program. These programs are grouped by age. Varying abilities, experience, and maturity levels are present in each class–this variety means that our coaches need to be able to adapt the program to individual personalities while promoting collaboration, imagination and self-expression.
Time-awareness is a key component for success.
The course material is adapted to each class with guidance from the Artistic Director, Anne Marie Mortensen. There is a performance for invited guests at the end of each term (on the last class day).
Classes take place in The Bottle Tree Studio at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (130 Clergy St. E, Kingston).
