Wilding (Queer & Non-Binary) has been performing and teaching/coaching Improv for over
25 years. Their high energy, quick wit and rolodex of zany characters can be found on
many stages from Vancouver, BC to Kingston, ON.
When Wilding isn’t on stage performing, they are very passionately teaching workshops –
sharing their absolute joy of Improv, in the hopes that folks will love it as much as they do!
They teach you how to have fun in the moment. There are no mistakes in Improv, only
gifts! Wilding teaches top down that Improv is just another word for spontaneity. Maybe you want to get on stage as part of a troupe or a duo. Perhaps you are looking for
something fun to do at the end of a stressful work day. Or you have taken an Improv
Workshop in the past and you remember how much fun you had! Everyone has a safe space in Wilding’s workshops and on their stages, whether you are brand-new to Improv or wanting to brush up on your existing skills.
What the heck kind of Improv will Wilding be teaching in this x3 hour workshop?
First and foremost, we learn how to let loose and have fun!
Then:
1.) ‘Ear-balling & Eye-balling’: the Wilding Way of listening and seeing everything
happening around you on stage at all times! What are offers? And what and how
can be offers?
2.) ‘Loading up your Improv Tool Belt’: the Wilding Way of making sure you have
everything you need in your Improv Tool Belt at all times – including you! YOU are
the biggest tool in your Improv Tool Belt.
