Wilding’s Improv for Seniors (you define your seniority!) Wednesdays 2:00-3:30pm

Sometimes, people want a class tailored to their demographic – if you are a senior and if you want to try Improv – or if you already know that you love it – this class is for you. Wilding’s improv classes are inclusive, supportive, fun – and you will sharpen your skills, hone your wit, and expand your community.

*all classes are held in the Bottle Tree Studio, which is upstairs at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Stairs are a factor in accessing this venue.

The Wilding Way Adult Improv (18+) Saturdays 2:00-3:30pm

Looking to add more fun and laughter to your life? Step into the world of improv! Whether you’re brand new to improvising or have been playing for years, this improv class is for YOU!

Each session is 1.5 hours of pressure-free laughter, creativity, and connection, guided by Wilding. We welcome all experience levels – from complete beginners to seasoned performers looking to explore Improv and sharpen their skills in a supportive community. No previous experience is required, just bring your curiosity and willingness to have fun

Sketch Comedy Writing with Wilding Tuesdays 6:30-8:00pm

Welcome to your new favourite Tuesday night! This Sketch Comedy Writing course is for everyone: writers, performers, hybrids, total beginners, seasoned weirdos, or anyone who wants to learn how to create a series of short, amusing scenes or vignettes. No previous experience required, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play!
Wilding teaches Sketch Comedy through an Improv lens, where spontaneous ideas, character choices, and in the moment hilarity. become fully formed sketches. You’ll experience how Improv influences Sketch, and how to use it as a comedic writing tool.
Across these fun filled weeks, we’ll dive into:
● Classic Sketch formats (and not so classic Sketch formats)
● Building strong comedic characters (on the page and on the stage)
● Structure, pacing, heightening, and escalation
● And most importantly: how to tie a Sketch in a bow! ( Also known as the ‘blow line’, ‘punch line’, ‘button’, or ‘tag line’ )
● We’ll explore all the ways Sketches can start and end, so your jokes don’t just land…. they stick the landing!
