Our Stage Right Acting Classes are Ontario’s most established theatre arts courses for children and youth. Our weekly classes are offered in three terms during the school year. Each term finishes with a performance for family and friends, so that our students can share their talent with you.

Stage Right Classes are grouped by age (Little Stars, JR, INT, SR) with varying skill levels represented in each class. There is no prerequisite. We meet your rising star where they are, and offer support, encouragement, and challenges, to increase their confidence and ability – both on stage and off!

CLASSES are offered in three terms, FALL, WINTER, and SPRING.

*Payment is required to hold your child’s place in class. Staff are hired based on enrolment; we regret that refunds are not possible.

The Studio is CLOSED on statutory holiday long weekends.
Registration for each term usually opens about six weeks prior to the start of term. Currently enrolled students have the first option to re-register for class. To make sure that you get the registration information, please subscribe to the Almost Monthly Newsletter.

The classes are all noted on our Google Calendar, and the last class of each term is our ‘performance class’. Performances are typically held in the Bottle Tree Studio, during regular class time. Classes will be kept abreast of what’s happening via email, so please make sure that you have whitelisted “@bottletreeinc.com”.

PRECAUTIONS

  • We request that if you are feeling a little off, but are still able to attend, that you mask up.
  • If you are sick please let us know that you will be staying home.

We are zero waste.  Everything that comes in, leaves with the actor.

Actors will need to bring/wear:

  • comfortable clothing, and you may wish to bring indoor shoes or slippers
  • OPTIONAL  – a properly fitting mask that covers your nose, mouth, and chin
  • a full water bottle.  Hard-sided is my preference, the disposable ones are really noisy and I don’t have recycling at the studio.
  • the studio is temperature-indeterminate, so you may want to wear layers
  • no gum in the facility at all
  • no food in the studio – please eat before you come. If you are staying for two classes, we will accommodate snack/lunch

Devices are not to be used during class. I have a basket to place them in.
